People run the Comrades for various reasons; Joseph Kagiso Ndlovu used his 90km to show just how much he loves his lady in an epic proposal.
Durban, South Africa (29 August 2022) – The Comrades is one of South Africa’s most iconic sporting events. The 90km ultramarathon draws crowds from across the globe to take part in the ultimate test of running. Each year athletes use the event to further causes and raise funds for charity, and this year was no different!
Joseph Kagiso Ndlovu used his 90km to make a statement that moved many to tears. He ran the entire 90km with a scroll of paper rolled up in his pocket with one goal in mind; make the finish line and propose to the love of his life on national TV. And to celebrate even more, Kasigo finished at 8:40:05.
At Good Things Guy, we celebrate love above all else. Love wins everything, and we absolutely balled our eyes out when we saw Kagiso cross that finish line. He proposed to Prudence Phalatse-Mampe, who said yes!
Prudence is currently trending on Twitter and there are talks of SA companies getting involved to make their engagement more special so stay tuned for updates. We will share all the heartwarming things that come from this special proposal.
Prudence and Kagiso, we would like to wish you both the very best for your life together! May your love and marriage be blessed with every good thing!
In a world where things sometimes feel pretty tough, if we stop and look the love around us, we can be filled with hope.
