So listen what they say… being different is ok!

Mexico (10 April 2022) – I am not crying you are!!! Huillo, a 12-year-old joined Coldplay onstage at the Foro Sol, Mexico City to perform his song ‘Different Is OK’.

6 years before this night, Huillo and his parents uploaded a video to his YouTube called ‘Autism Acceptance’ which went viral. The parents had taken Huillo to a Coldplay concert and recorded him singing to “Fix You”.

“Something that my wife and I now decided to share with the whole world. You have to see it! Says it all! You guys, Coldplay please need to see this!

And Coldplay did! Chris Martin, the band’s frontman, said that of all the things they had ever done, this video was the best they have ever seen.

Since then Huillo started using music and instruments in his therapy – to help him understand the world better. Martin found out that the young man had been writing his own music and invited him on stage to sing “Different is OK”.
