Johannesburg, South Africa – DJ Jazzy D or Dr Jazzy D? Just before Women’s Day 2019, the local DJ helped a woman give birth while she was sitting in the street waiting for emergency services!

DJ Jazzy D or the GrooveMaster as he loves to be called, comes from Pretoria originally. His Dj career started at an early age of 14 when he was just a little boy travelling in Taxi’s from City to City to pursue his dream. At the time, and being 14 years old, no-one expected he would develop into one of the leading Dj’s in South Africa.

He mastered his skills while spending his weekends in Eersterust at a family-owned nightclub – Club Bel-Air.

Jazzy’s dream led him to produce music for superstars like the late TK, Kabelo Bougalove, Tembi Seate, Winnie Khumalo, Dr Victor, Kurt Darren, Jimmy Nevis and many more.

Jazzy is a presenter on JacarandaFm and apparently has some Obstetrics skills!

The local DJ was on his way to an event, and he saw a car standing on the side of the road and chaos as two men were running in all sorts of directions.

“I also saw someone sitting on a blanket on the side of the car. It was a cold night at about 13 degrees, I rolled down my window and asked the gentleman if they have a problem and he told me that his wife is having a baby. I got to her and saw that the baby’s head was already out.

The husband was so afraid, and there was no one else, so I just decide to help.

I comforted her, and after three minutes, a beautiful baby girl was born.”

He also said that the mother was extremely brave. He shared a special moment on social media. Watch the video below:
