The Maletsatsi Foundation successfully tracked down its hero Nduduzo, and handed over a brand new bike – which supporters helped purchase.

Midrand, South Africa (18 June 2024) – Earlier this month, the Maletsatsi Foundation witnessed a truly kind act, a Takealot delivery guy was spotted doing something kind for a cold family begging on the roadside. He stopped at the robot and handed them some food. The generous moment was spotted by Tiffini Hein and her daughter who were on their way to hand out care packs to people in need.

Tiffini used the Maletsatsi Foundation’s social media for help in finding the driver. She and her daughter both felt his actions deserved recognition. At the time, she didn’t know how they would recognise his efforts, but once Tiffini met Nduduzo in person, she learned how he was struggling to make ends meet due to the high cost of renting his delivery bike.

Struck by inspiration, Tiffini and her daughter decided to raise funds to purchase a new bike for Nduduzo – giving him the opportunity to earn a larger income from his delivery job.

The bike was delivered to Nduduzo over the weekend and huge thanks went to everyone who helped purchase the bike, helped find Nduduzo and helped share his inspiring story.

“Thank you to every single person who helped make this possible! We are delighted to have been able to gift Nduduzo with his very own, brand spanking new, motorcycle today!”

Nduduzo never imagined his kindness would be repaid so beautifully and that is because his kindness was for himself, to help others get through hard times, just like he once did.
