Nomcebo Zikode, the talented singer/songwriter who rose to fame for her part in the global hit Jerusalema just signed an international music deal.

 

South Africa (04 November 2020) – We all know and love Nomcebo Zikode’s enchanting voice, it has become the voice of the unity felt across the world all thanks to Jerusalema.

Nomcebo was born in Hammersdale, KwaZulu-Natal. She studied information technology before leaving home to pursue a career in music. Nomcebo spent 15-years working as a backup singer and faced a few troubles in the industry, but it was when she met Master KG, that things really changed!

Teaming up with Master KG, she lent her vocals to the now world-famous song. Since its popularity, Nomcebo has released a debut studio album titled Xola Moya Wam. Master KG worked with her, collaborating on some of the songs.

Now, her personal success has gone international! Nomcebo Zikode signed an international deal with Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The singer/songwriter will be lending her talents to one of the biggest international music corporations in the world.

“This year has been unbelievable, with the success of ‘Jerusalema’ and the great reception of my album, ‘Xola Moya Wam’. I look forward to seeing where this relationship with Sony/ATV takes me.
