Drive Safer Driving Car Bumper Bash Car Crash

What would you think was happening if the driver of the car you had just driven into, jumped out and started running towards you?

Shanel De Stefanis was driving in Edenvale this morning (18th January 2018) when this exact scenario happened.

She had driven into the car in front of her and was expecting the driver to shout and swear and get violent but instead he made her realise that South Africa is an incredible place to live.

“So I was in a car accident on Terrace road this morning. I bumped into a man named Percy Dlamini who is an Uber driver.

As the accident occurred, he jumped out of his vehicle and ran towards me… and instead of shouting, swearing or getting violent – as I would expect in this situation – he hugged me and asked me if I was ok.

The world needs more people like that. Thank you Percy.”

Social media users who saw the post were just as inspired… it’s the little things that are actually the big things!

Angela Davis posted: “Percy is an example of a gentleman and a good human being.”

Debbie Mclardy added: “WOW!!! We need more people like him in the world”

Lesley Beaumont Campbell commented: “Fantastic, thank you for sharing something so positive👍Percy you give me hope”

In a world filled with hate and struggle… it is posts like this that makes one not to give up on mankind. There are good people out there. We should all follow by this example.
