Kagiso may have lost his legs, but he is remarkably unshaken by the emotional and physical trauma he’s endured. His radiant smile and hope for new prosthetics have now inspired a community to rally behind him and his dream to walk again.

South Africa (11 September 2025) – There are souls who easily leave a lasting impression even after being in their presence for but a moment.

Kagiso is one such soul whom Sean Clarke, founder of the Gammie on the Go Foundation, recently had the pleasure of meeting. This special boy had a double through-knee amputation that has since left him with the simplest yet most profound dream. A dream to walk comfortably, without pain or the constant reminder of what he’s been through.

“What struck me most was his smile. It’s huge. It’s warm. It’s unshaken by the emotional and physical trauma he’s endured,” Sean recalls.

Kagiso needs prosthetic legs to make his dream come true, and Sean, through his Foundation and in collaboration with Adam Nunn, is determined to make it happen.

“We’re going all in for him,” Sean shares.

Adam is no stranger to endurance challenges. In November, he will take on the UTCT 100 miler, 160km of brutal trail running, to rally support and raise funds to give Kagiso the legs his soul longs for.

“Every step will hurt, and every climb will test him. But Adam has chosen to run for Kagiso. His pain will have a purpose. His finish line is Kagiso’s future. This is Adam’s why.”

The Gammie on the Go Foundation will also be hosting charity events like paddle tournaments and golf days, and sell merchandise where every cent goes to funding Kagiso’s prosthetics.

“We have a lot of money to raise, and we need every bit of help we can get,” Sean appeals.
