The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, was recently in Lesotho to open a food hall and we just can’t get enough of the charming Royal’s fun personality (or his love of Africa)
Did you know that Prince Harry refers to Africa as his second home? He has spent many trips visiting various African countries and actively campaigns for a number of different causes including animal conservation and education.
Just like his beautiful mother, Diana, he has a charitable heart.
When Harry met Meghan, the world swooned over their romance and since the couple has been making headlines for their affections towards one another. Just recently they were at the Royal Ascot and now Harry is back in Southern Africa, solo. We so wish that Meghan could have joined but we are sure, she too is busy with her own royal duties now.
He was carrying out his duty by being present at the opening of a dining hall at a school in Lesotho, which you can see in the picture below, he had fun doing. He was also here to attend a board meeting of the Africa Parks conservation charity.
“The Duke was on a private visit to see the work of Sentebale at a camp for vulnerable children and young people, as well as other projects funded by the charity.”
“During his private working visit to Sentebale in Lesotho, The Duke visited one of Sentebale’s community-led partners for the opening of a new dining hall. This was funded by the charity and will provide a space for children to eat together and have an indoor space to play,” Sentebale said in a statement.
The charity was co-founded with his friend, Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. By tomorrow, he will be back on a plane to the UK to attend the reception for the Queen’s Young Leaders at Buckingham Palace.
