Cycling duo Reuben Van Niekerk and Dane Wilson will tackle the Cape Epic while raising funds for Jumping Kids – giving more and more kids the gift of mobility!

Western Cape, South Africa (30 January 2025) – Exciting things are happening for a great cause! Longtime Jumping Kids charity ambassadors Reuben Van Niekerk and Dane Wilson have teamed up with Össur, a manufacturer of non-invasive orthopaedic and prosthetics equipment, for the “What’s Your Epic” campaign. The cycling duo will raise funds for Jumping Kids at the highly anticipated Absa Cape Epic in March.

The What’s Your Epic campaign aims to support charities dedicated to providing hope, mobility, and independence to those with limited movement. This is right up Jumping Kids’ alley as it provides access to prosthetic equipment for children living with lower limb amputation from previously disadvantaged communities.

Numerous youngsters across the country have been afforded the freedom and joy of movement after losing their limbs to severe accidents or illnesses thanks to this worthy charity.

“We are thrilled to be selected, as well as to be championed by these two exceptional cyclists,” shares Jumping Kids.

Reuben and Dane’s involvement with Jumping Kids dates back all the way to the charity’s launch in 2009.

“We look forward to sharing their epic journey while we track their preparations ahead of the race,” Jumping Kids adds.

We, too, are thrilled to cheer this inspirational pair on as they strive to make a real difference in the lives of deserving children!
