A man and his family were in a car accident and while waiting for assistance, were approached by thugs, but a brave woman stopped them from harming the family.
Knysna, South Africa – Over the weekend, a woman bravely stood up to thugs and sent them packing! Constance, an employee at Oakhill School tuckshop, was walking along the road when she witnesses a car accident on the N2.
As she got closer, she recognised the man in the car as a parent of students at the school. Dirk and his three children were waiting for assistance after their car accident. As Constance approached them, some men approached the family and attempted to rob Dirk of his phone and wallet.
Constance quickly stepped forward and asked the thugs to move on and leave the family. The men got aggressive and attempted to assault Constance.
She stood her ground and quickly called for backup. Her brother arrived and made the men move on without anyone getting hurt.
After the ordeal was over, Constance went on her way, and the family got their car sorted. Jenny Burrows, Constance’s employer, received a thank you note from Dirk a few days later, commending her on her efforts to keep his family safe.
He also asked that people pray for the man in the other car who was taken to hospital and is at risk of losing his job.
“Hi, Jenny,
Could you please send my best regards to the lady who helped us. She supported us greatly and we felt safe all the time. Thank you, Lord she was there… Thanks again to her, we really appreciate her help.
But the prayers should be not for us, it should be for the other car driver who was submitted to hospital and might lose his job now. Life can change so quickly.
It was always nice to deal with Jenny at the tuck shop.
Best Regards
Dirk”
According to Jenny, Constance feels proud of her achievement and that she felt really good after helping the family through the ordeal.
Below are Drik and his children, all safe and thankful for Constance being in the right place at the right time.
