Over 120 teams of young boys and girls brought their A-game to SuperSport Park, wrapping up another successful season of the Little Titans Cricket League.
Pretoria, South Africa (27 October 2025) – They may be small in size, but Pretoria’s Little Titans are already dreaming big! SuperSport Park was buzzing with excitement on 25 October as the Little Titans Cricket League wrapped up another season of big dreams and even bigger smiles.
What started on 9 August as a fun introduction to the sport of cricket for boys and girls aged six to eight ended in a colourful celebration of emerging talent and teamwork.
With over 120 teams from across Pretoria taking part, the Little Titans League has become one of the city’s favourite youth cricket traditions. It’s where tiny hands grip cricket bats for the first time, friendships are formed between overs, and future stars get their first taste of the game’s magic. Ryno Bester says they look to ignite passion for the youngsters.

“Our main goal is to make every child’s first cricket experience so memorable that it creates a lifelong passion and love for the game.”
Now in its fourth year, the league continues to grow from strength to strength. And while there may be no trophies big enough for the energy these little ones bring, the real victory is in their confidence and their love for the game.
“It’s still the best feeling to see the smiles on the children’s faces when they hit a four or take a wicket. Our mission remains to make every boy or girl’s first cricket experience the best it can possibly be.”
From the proud cheers of parents on the boundary to the sight of kids running after the ball with unfiltered joy, the Little Titans League proved that they might just be the future Proteas we will be cheering for one day.
