Nicole Hasell, a rising star in the world of powerlifting, is counting down the days to the action-packed IPF Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships and needs your support to continue her journey.

Pretoria, South Africa (12 September) – Nicole Hasell, a talented and dedicated 23-year-old powerlifting athlete, began competing in 2022. She set several South African and African records, earning her place in prestigious international competitions.

However, due to the high costs associated with travel, competition fees and essential equipment, Nicole has been unable to go after every opportunity to compete on the world stage.

The promising powerlifter is now seeking urgent support to continue her journey to the top of the international powerlifting world.

A record-breaking powerlifter

Nicole, a dedicated 5th-year Veterinary Medicine student from Pretoria, recently returned from a triumphant performance at the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Championships in Malta.

She displayed exceptional strength, securing an impressive 4th place in the deadlift and finishing 6th overall in the Juniors U57kg division.

Her remarkable achievement has solidified her status as a leading powerlifter, with a collection of three South African records and an impressive 10 African records to her name.

Nicole’s journey into powerlifting began after a successful career as a high-performance gymnast, later transitioning into weightlifting and CrossFit before discovering her true passion – Squat, Bench and Deadlift.

Rising star’s plea for support

Nicole is confident she can rise to the challenge, but she urgently needs the right equipment to train and compete at her best. The sport has two categories – Classic (no equipment) and Equipped (which requires specialised deadlift- and squat suits, a bench shirt, shoes, a belt, wraps and more).

As she prepares for the IPF Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships, Nicole is urgently seeking support in the form of sponsorships to ensure her participation and continue her journey to the top of the international powerlifting world.

Nicole’s passion, dedication and extraordinary talent have already earned her numerous accolades, but she needs your help to continue her journey.

Your support could be the key to making her dreams come true and helping her represent South Africa on the global powerlifting stage.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring Nicole one step closer to her dream of competing and excelling at the highest level in international powerlifting.
