A strong lineup of South African talent headlines the PFL Africa event in Pretoria, with local fans ready to cheer on their own.

Pretoria, South Africa (18 March 2026) – Fight night is building nicely in Pretoria, and South African talent is at the centre of it all.

The Professional Fighters League returns to local soil with its Africa Season 2 opener on 10 April at the SunBet Arena, and there’s plenty for home fans to get excited about.

Leading the charge is reigning bantamweight champion Nkosi Ndebele, who steps back into the spotlight in front of a home crowd. Known as “King”, Ndebele will be looking to build on his unbeaten run in the promotion after a standout 2025 campaign that saw him lift the title. This time, he faces a tough international test, but the focus will firmly be on whether the local favourite can rise to the occasion once again on South African soil.

More novel talent in the co-main event, where heavyweight contender Justin Clarke returns with something to prove. After falling just short in last season’s final, Clarke gets another big stage.

Another name to watch closely is Peace Nguphane, who heads into his welterweight bout in strong form. Riding a solid winning streak, he has built momentum and now finds himself with a major opportunity to shake up the division against top-level opposition.

While the card brings together talent from across the continent, South African fans will have their eyes firmly on the local fighters and when those lights come on in Pretoria, the home fighters will be ready to put on a show.
