The South African u16 Polocrosse team flew the flag high while in Helensvale, Zimbabwe; they are bringing home the winning title after winning all 3 of their games.
South Africa (30 August 2022) – The second major win for South Africa in the Polocrosse arena took place this past week as the team of under-16s travelled to Zimbabwe and came away the victors of all three matches played. Just a week before that, the under-14s came home with the same incredible win from Zambia.
The under-16 team played in Helensvale, Zimbabwe, at the Borrowdale Country Club and was made up of Johnathan Thornhill (m), Brad Kent (m), Lance Price Moor (m), Nic King (m), Sydney Du Toit (f), Kendra Thompson (f), Chloe Hatch (f) and Tristan Van Der Walt (f). Coach Gavin Cocker supported the team alongside team manager Melissa Price Moor.

Polocrosse is a team sport that is a combination of polo and lacrosse. Polo is a popular sport worldwide, while lacrosse is more popular in Northern America, but many countries are adopting the sport. The combined nature of both sports means a fun and active experience for riders.
The South African u16 team won all three of their tests against the Zimbabwe side over the space of three days.

- Saturday- Zim 16- 22 SA
- Sunday- Zim 17-21 SA
