TELL (Transplant Education for Living Legacies) is a new Non Profit Organisation sharing the stories that matter and reminding us why Organ Donation is so incredibly important!
The new organisation was borne from the amazing South Africans who founded “Love Life; Gift Life”, but they have refined their focus and are working towards a much bigger goal!
“We are excited to introduce you to our new organisation: TELL. This new NPO has been founded by Fawn, Alice and Bonnie, former directors of LLGL. Our goal is still the same: to make a difference, and grow awareness around organ and tissue donation in South Africa.
As we set out on this new adventure, we turn to you for your continued support. We believe the most important part of organ and tissue donation is conversation. So we’re here to tell our story and inspire people to tell theirs. Together we can continue to make a meaningful difference in transplant awareness in South Africa!”
TELL are officially open for business and working on amazing campaigns.
Their main task is to educate the public about organ and tissue donation though various projects and the purpose of this is to “TELL YOUR TRIBE” about your wishes to become an organ and tissue donor.
Their secondary outcome is to educate health care professionals around the referral process of potential donors, the more South Africans on the list, the less South Africans have to wait!
We have a holistic approach to ending the waiting list and, with your help, we are confident we can make a difference.
