Kim Moodley took to social media in the hope of a miracle; her beloved cat Tom got away from her while she was travelling to Cape Town, and she hopes to find him.
Western Cape, South Africa (04 February 2021) – Moving is incredibly stressful and moving to another province, even more so! Kim Moodley and Dale Parker were moving their family back to Cape Town when tragedy struck.
Their cat Tom got away from them during a toilet break and disappeared into the surroundings. The couple spent three hours at the Engen One-Stop, searching high and low for their beloved Tom.
Eventually, they had to get back on the road, giving up the search for their cat and carrying on towards Cape Town. The family was gutted; they drove off, feeling as if their hearts had shattered. Kim immediately took to social media to ask for help in finding Tom.

Our beautiful boy Tom ran away today (02 February 2021). We were at the Engen 1 stop in Bethlehem ( the one next to the mall) en route to CT. While on a potty mission, he decided to bolt and he literally just vanished into thin air.
Dale Parker and I spent the best part of 3hrs searching high and low in the pouring rain and icy cold but our Tom Tom is nowhere to be found.
Our hearts are completely broken.
If anyone sees him in the Bethlehem area, pls let me know and I will arrange for him to be collected ASAP.
