Carike Laroque found herself laughing out loud with sheer joy this morning after seeing a pointsman who was having a really good day!
South Africa (12 September 2023) – Carike Laroque shared a wonderfully uplifting video of a pointsman she spotted while waiting in loadshedding traffic. She said seeing the guy dancing while working, made her day.
Sitting at the corner of Witkoppen and Main Road in Northern Johannesburg, Carike was contemplating her day after having just dropped off her daughter at school. In the typical loadshedding traffic, she sat and waited for her turn to safely drive towards her next stop for the day.
As Carike sat there waiting, she noticed that the traffic pointsman by OUTsurance, was moving and grooving as he directed the traffic that was building during the school rush.
Speaking to Carike, she shared that she was thoroughly entertained and we are pretty sure anyone else who witnessed the pointsman must have felt the same.
“I felt amused and laughed out loud. He really made my day! I felt like I was the only one who saw him. I gave his partner a thumbs up and he smiled. He was having such a good time, dancing and entertaining motorists, he didn’t even notice me filming him 🙂 such a joy to be a South African living in Jozi. Such a vibe!!
