A bakery employee has taken to the streets, beaches, and even the rain in search of a customer named James for his coffee order.

Cape Town, South Africa (08 August 2025) – Weirdough Bakery is at it again, keeping Capetonians entertained with its hilariously committed hunt for the mysterious customer known only as James. In the bakery’s latest video, loyal employee Finn has taken his search to dramatic new heights. More like new streets and beaches.

According to the bakery’s playful caption, Finn is not just looking for a man anymore. He is looking for the man, the myth, the oat milk cappuccino with one pump of vanilla. And if the video evidence is anything to go by, this quest has gone from casual to just downright personal.

The rain did not stop him. The robots did not slow him down. Finn has been spotted along Summer West Street and even venturing all the way to Gordon’s Bay. All in the hope of delivering that coffee to James. At one point, he even thought he had finally spotted his man. But nope, the mythical James remains as hard to find as ever.

This latest video picks up right where the first one left off, with Finn still on the hunt, and James still nowhere to be seen. Whether it is the dramatic weather, the unexpected locations, or Finn’s commitment, I guess we can all agree that James enjoys the chase.

So, James, if you are out there, maybe swing by the bakery soon. Finn is still looking for you.
