Yup, we’ve been blown away! A wholesome video showcased a large group of primary school pupils transforming their classroom into a concert hall with an impressive and seamless rendition of “This Is the Day the Lord Has Made”.

 

Nseleni, South Africa (20 November 2025) – In the humble classrooms of a primary school tucked in the township of Nseleni in KwaZulu-Natal are some of the most magical voices, which blended together, have moved South Africans all over.

A video shared by teacher and choir conductor, Nosisa Minenhle Dlamini, shows a classroom full of learners from Nguluzana Primary School seated at their desks before they belt out a most impressive rendition of This Is the Day the Lord Has Made.

Following the tune of the keyboard and guided by another conductor in front of the class, the learners display a seamless choral performance as their voices, ranging from soaring sopranos to resonant basses, come together beautifully in a harmonic blend.

The flawless execution and vibrancy achieved by these learners, despite their humble setting, just go to show that extraordinary young talent exists in every corner of our beautiful country.

The video has garnered over 590K views on Facebook with a shower of loving praise from South Africans who cannot stop gushing about the talented group and their soul-stirring performance.

“Clean… on point. All notes are clean, and all the dynamics are sweet. Wow, ” commented Fezile Will.

“I was not feeling good about going to work today. After watching the video, I kicked the blankets and I am rejoicing,” shared Zanele Lhelhe Hobongwana.

“Beautiful voices, yhoooooo ndane goosebumps,” wrote Nomfusi Gongqa.
