The inspirational young sports fan continues to meet sporting icons while sharing his love for South African sport.

Johannesburg, South Africa (25 March 2026) – If you follow South African rugby on social media, chances are you’ve come across the ever-inspiring Nkosi, The Rugby Guy. Known for his infectious energy, heartfelt hugs and love for the game, Nkosi has made a name for himself by sharing uplifting moments with some of the biggest names in sport.

From meeting Springbok stars like Siya Kolisi and Rassie Erasmus to motivating fans across the country, Nkosi continues to spread positivity wherever he goes. And this time, his journey took him slightly off the rugby field and onto the course of LIV Golf South Africa.

During the electric event in Johannesburg, he had a special moment with tournament winner Bryson DeChambeau. And of course, in true Nkosi fashion, it was filled with proudly South African flair.

In a heartwarming clip, he teaches Bryson a phrase many South Africans hold close, made famous by Dricus du Plessis: “Hulle weet nie wat ons weet nie,” meaning they don’t know what we know. It’s a phrase often used to celebrate South African excellence in sport, and it couldn’t have been more fitting after the success of LIV Golf’s debut on African soil.

He didn’t stop there. Nkosi also gave him a quick lesson in local lingo, getting him to say the classic South African greeting: “Howzit, boet!”

Living with Cerebral palsy, Nkosi has never let anything hold him back. Instead, he has used his platform to inspire and bring people together through sport.

For Nkosi, it was another dream come true. This time meeting a global golf star and sharing a proudly South African moment.
