Kruger National Park, South Africa (09 August 2026) – Fran Drescher is back in South Africa, exploring the magnificent Kruger National Park and taking her millions of social media followers along for the adventure. And judging by her review so far, she’s having an amazing holiday.

Fran became a global television icon as “Fran Fine” in “The Nanny”, the much-loved sitcom that ran from 1993 to 1999. With her unmistakable voice, fabulous fashion, huge personality and brilliant comedic timing, she created a character that remains instantly recognisable more than three decades later.
But Fran’s story extends far beyond the Sheffield household. She has built a career spanning film, television, producing and advocacy, while also becoming an important voice for cancer awareness following her own diagnosis and recovery. She founded the Cancer Schmancer Movement and has spent years using her platform to advocate for early detection and healthier living.
This isn’t her first South African adventure either. Fran has visited the country several times over the years, for humanitarian work and holidays, with her connection to South Africa stretching back more than two decades. This time, the Kruger National Park is stealing the show, with Fran sharing videos of her journey and showcasing a little slice of South African magic to followers around the globe.
