The Springboks have arrived in Baltimore ahead of Saturday’s final Test against the All Blacks, with fans turning out to give the team a warm welcome.

Baltimore, USA (07 September 2026) – The Springboks have officially landed in Baltimore, and it looks like fans are more than ready for the Greatest Rivalry to make its way to the United States.

The Boks were given a warm welcome from supporters on arrival as they settled into Baltimore ahead of the fourth and final Test against the All Blacks next weekend.

It’s a very different setting from the packed stadiums they’ve become accustomed to in South Africa, but the atmosphere around the team suggests the rivalry has brought plenty of excitement across the Atlantic too.

And the Springboks arrive with plenty of confidence behind them.

South Africa took a 2–1 series lead after edging New Zealand 29–24 at FNB Stadium in Soweto on Saturday, in a thrilling third Test that had the crowd of more than 85,000 on the edge of their seats.

Kurt-Lee Arendse and a penalty try put South Africa on the scoreboard in the first half, before Jesse Kriel and Malcolm Marx crossed after the break. Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu also played a key role with the boot.

The All Blacks kept pushing right until the final whistle, with Samisoni Taukei’aho scoring after the hooter, but the Springboks held on to claim the win and move one step closer to taking the series.

Now, the focus shifts from Soweto to Baltimore. The final Test will be played at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, on Saturday, 12 September. The venue can accommodate more than 70,000 fans and is set to provide a very different backdrop for one of rugby’s biggest rivalries.

For rugby fans in America, it is a chance to see two of the biggest names in international rugby go head-to-head on their doorstep.

And judging by the welcome the Springboks have already received, Baltimore is more than ready for the final chapter.

The rivalry has crossed the Atlantic. Now, all that’s left is one more Test.
