The 2026 Amabeadibeadi Charity Drive raised R2,275,815 to support children and teenagers affected by cancer and life-threatening blood disorders.

South Africa (15 September 2026) – More than R2.2 million has been raised to support children and teenagers living with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders, thanks to the incredible effort behind this year’s Comrades Marathon charity drive.

A total of R2,275,815 was donated to CHOC through the 2026 Amabeadibeadi Charity Drive, helping the organisation continue supporting young patients and the families walking alongside them.

The money came together through the efforts of runners, supporters, sponsors, donors and The Cows, with every kilometre of the Comrades Marathon helping to turn a gruelling day on the road into something much bigger.

For CHOC, the impact goes well beyond the race itself.

Behind every rand raised is a child receiving care, a family navigating an incredibly difficult time and another opportunity to provide support when it is needed most.

The organisation has thanked the Comrades Marathon Association, The Cows and everyone who contributed to the campaign for helping make this year’s drive such a success.

The message from CHOC is simple: the support means more than just a successful fundraising campaign.

It helps the organisation continue “keeping more than hope alive” for children and families affected by childhood cancer and serious blood disorders.

And that makes every kilometre count.
