The Virginia SPCA is encouraging prospective adopters to meet Leo and give him the chance to start a new chapter.
Virginia, South Africa (12 October 2026) – Leo is the last of his litter still waiting to be adopted at the Virginia SPCA after watching his siblings leave the shelter for their new homes.
At just six months old, the affectionate puppy is still hoping someone will choose him and give him the loving home he deserves.
Leo is a happy little companion who gets along well with others. With his siblings already settled into their forever homes, the shelter is hoping his turn will come soon.
The organisation rescues and cares for animals in need, giving them a second chance while working to find families who can offer them a safe and permanent home.
Now, Leo needs someone willing to take that next step and make him part of their family.
The Virginia SPCA will be open on Saturday from 08:00 to 12:00, giving prospective adopters an opportunity to visit and meet him.
For anyone considering welcoming a pet into their home, Leo could be the companion they have been looking for.
Adoption gives animals like Leo the chance to move beyond shelter life and into a home where they can feel safe, loved and part of a family.
