Mother and Daughter flight crew go viral for all the right reasons.

In an industry mostly led by men, this mother and daughter somehow matched their schedules and got to fly the plane together.

Los Angeles, America – A passenger travelling from Los Angeles to Atlanta shared a photo of a mother-daughter pilot team that the internet is loving!

John R. Watret – chancellor of the Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida – posted a tweet with a photo of the mother-daughter team that has since gone viral!

“Just flew from LAX to ATL on Delta piloted by this mother-daughter flight crew. Great Flight. Inspiring for young women,” he wrote.

Watret found out about the Rexons after a woman boarding the aircraft asked a flight attendant if her two children could visit the flight deck.

“The flight attendant said they could – and that they would be surprised,” Watret said.

When the mother and her kids returned from their visit with the pilots, Watret overheard them talking about the “mother and daughter” flying the plane.

“I thought that was amazing. I was in awe,” he said. “I asked if I could visit them, too.”

That’s when he snapped the photo for his tweet, which he ended up sending after the flight arrived in Atlanta late Saturday night.

The tweet has since been shared and liked over 50 000 times and doesn’t seem to be slowing down!

Sharon Dunn commented: “That is just the most amazing, wonderful news ever – seriously. My mother and I would never have flown together as crew. We couldn’t even agree on having the radio on/off in the car.

Calm Rizing added: “This gives new meaning to a mother talking her daughter under her wings!”

Ian Bowden asked: “That’s pretty cool…..question is, was mother holding on to the sides of her seat for dear life when daughter was at the controls? That’s what my parents do when I’m driving anyway…”
