Relate have a new bracelet available that raises funds to conserve our South African heritage. The profits fund the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT).

Trappers, an outdoor gear store, teamed up with the Endangered Wildlife Trust to create a Relate bracelet for Heritage conservation. They will be raising funds for EWT to conserve and protect threatened species and ecosystems in southern Africa, our heritage.

“Trappers and EWT has a long established partnership based on an alignment of core values. As an outdoor lifestyle brand, Trappers respects nature and supports EWT’s conservation efforts,” – Vanessa Marx, Trappers: Marketing Manager

“We are extremely passionate about our heritage and Relate bracelets are a great avenue through which ordinary people can give towards the conservation of threatened species,”

“It is hugely important to protect and preserve all life on this planet, and with partnerships like these, we are able to do so while creating employment and learning opportunities in the process.” – Debbie Thiart, the EWT’s Public Relations Officer.

Relate bracelets don’t only benefit the charities they support. The not-for-profit company hires underprivileged elderly to bead the bracelets, giving them a much-needed income boost and a daily place to be. Relate bracelets are hand-made and proudly South African.

Relate’s core philosophy rests on the concept that lots of small purchases add up to make a big difference. In the last three years alone, Relate has raised more than R 26million for causes in health, education, conservation, social upliftment, and children’s and women’s empowerment.

You can find the Trappers/EWT bracelets at your nearest Trappers store.
