“We, as humans, are wired to learn. And so it’s just about creating that opportunity. You can change people’s lives.” – Good Work Foundation founder and CEO Kate Groch.
Hazyview, South Africa (15 September 2022) – As we conclude our celebratory series on Good Work Foundation’s #TenYearsOfGoodWork, here’s a video created by the GWF team that demonstrates what’s possible if you just dare to dream.
It shows how a spark of an idea – creating wonder-filled moments for rural learners through experiential learning – has today mushroomed into a multicampus movement that sees over 11 000 young people learning digital and other skills every week.
“Learning should not be stopped because of where you come from. And I think Good Work Foundation can bring that access to all people in rural communities,” says Fumani Mathumbu, the manager of GWF’s Hazyview Digital Learning Campus.
Take a few minutes to absorb Good Work Foundation’s remarkable journey from audacious idea to sustainable and scalable non-profit. We hope you’ll be inspired to become part of the change you’d like to see in South Africa:
