Appropriately named “Raise Your Arches”, the new McDonald’s advert is raising eyebrows worldwide.
Global (17 January 2023) – Don’t be surprised if you start raising your eyebrows while watching the new McDonald’s advert.
In what is being called “genius” by industry leaders in the Marketing world, McDonald’s UK has released an advert that is going viral and doesn’t even feature the product – although you might catch the brand’s colours in some of the clothing worn.
Edgar Wright directed the “Raise Your Arches” advert and has managed to raise eyebrows across the world with his clever use of Yello’s 1985 song, “Oh Yeah”, and a simply crafted gesture to get your friends, family and colleagues to stop whatever they are doing and join you at the “Golden Arches” for a break.
We wouldn’t be surprised if this actually becomes a global “bat signal” for the fast-food outlet.
