Remember that video earlier this year of the Eikenhof Dam releasing water to the City of Cape Town? Well now their generosity has been paid back by nature.
The Eikenhof Dam near Grabouw opened its gates in February 2018 (pictured above) and sent some much-needed water to the City of Cape Town. The donation sparked many thanks from people all over the Western Cape. A video was taken by Cathy Shaw (which you can watch here) and to date has been viewed over 1.2 million times.
Now a new video featuring the very same dam is going viral. Herholdt Bezuidenhout posted the video on Facebook this past Monday and it has nearly reached 90,000 views.

According to the latest report on the Water and Sanitations website, the dam was last measured in at 97.2% which is up 5% from the previous week.
