The South African National Biodiversity Institute has shared the exciting news of yet another Gold medal win at the Chelsea Flower Show in the UK.
South Africa has secured another Gold Medal at the Chelsea Flower Show this year. This comes after a gold win in 2017 as well. This marks the 36th win for South Africa in 43 years.
Just like last year, this years exhibition focused on the different biomes in South Africa. From the Western Cape to Limpopo, the diversity of indigenous plants was plentiful.
South Africa is a beautiful country filled with the most stunning examples of fauna and flora. Blessed with unique backdrops such as Table Mountain and the Limpopo Valley, it is no wonder that South Africa has become a must-visit destination for international tourists.
We are incredibly proud that our natural environment garners such high accolades on an international stage. Well done to all involved in securing yet another stellar win for SA!
“Great news! Our exhibit has received another GOLD medal at the Chelsea Flower Show. This brings us to a total of 36 gold medals over 43 years of exhibiting at this prestigious show. What better day to receive the award than on the International Day for Biological Diversity”
