Putting the ‘art’ in Earth: An art school has dedicated its upcoming exhibition to Benoni’s clean-up champions, Clean Projects!
Northmead, South Africa (28 June 2024) — Art Alive Art School’s 14th annual Art Exhibition (La quattordicesima esposizione) is set to do more than give talented artists the chance to share their work with a larger community of art lovers in Gauteng. Come July, the art exhibition will act as an extension of support for Benoni’s clean-up champions—Clean Projects, who go above and beyond to beautify Benoni one area of need at a time.
Clean Projects couldn’t be more thrilled that the school (a space where all ages can learn how to unleash their creative talents) and the Rotary Club of Benoni Aurora have chosen them as the beneficiary of their upcoming exhibition, adding that it is the first fundraiser of its kind for them.
As a community clean-up organisation, more public support means more action can be taken and even more transformation in the area can be achieved!
The art exhibition is set to run from 30 July to 3 August at Art Alive Art School on 56 11th Avenue in Northmead. Some pieces will be available for purchase, and proceeds from the tickets (R80) will go to Benoni’s clean up champions. Wine, warm food and of course art, are all on the menu! You can book your spot by getting in touch with Clean Projects.
Meanwhile, in other art for a cause news, 20 local artists are raising money for TEARS as part of the RePAWposed exhibition, which you can read all about here.
