In 2018, a young boy named Junior sought guidance on caring for his tiny puppy, Snoopy. Now, years later, Junior has blossomed into a dedicated Edu-Paw volunteer, and Snoopy is a well-loved companion, a living example of responsible pet ownership.

Amanzimtoti, South Africa (10 March 2025) – The Edu-Paw team is made up of members who are passionate about teaching children proper canine care and compassion for animals.

And to give you an idea of how impactful their work is, the journey of Snoopy and Junior stands as a shining example.

Snoopy is the prized furry companion of Junior who first found his way to Edu-Paw in 2018 looking to learn about what the charity was about and how he could take good care of his dog when he was just an 8-week-old puppy.

With time, a once curious boy grew to become a dedicated, hardworking and long-standing Edu-Paw volunteer. Snoopy, now at seven years old, has also blossomed into a much-loved and well-mannered fur baby—proof of Junior’s love and dedication.

“On Saturday, Junior brought Snoopy to Edu Paw for his vaccinations, continuing his commitment to responsible pet care.

“Well done, Junior! You and Snoopy are shining examples of what Edu Paw stands for,” the charity shared, moved to see how its teachings have been instilled in this young man’s life.

Edu-Paw isn’t just teaching dog care; they’re cultivating compassion, one young person at a time.

Through its volunteers, the organisation does incredible work in debunking numerous myths associated with dogs and their treatment, sparing many dogs from harm or neglect.
