Kruger Park Lions

4 of the 5 escaped Kruger Park lions have been darted, captured and returned to their home, there is one left and this is what Social Media thinks about it!

It has been speculated that the 5 Kruger Park lions where pushed out of the park by a larger pride. The first 4 lions were all spotted and darted. Once sedated they were taken back to the safety of the park.

South African’s on twitter are starting to make some hilarious and well thought out jokes about the remaining lion. The South African sense of humor is never missed in a difficult situation.

Twitter has been posting a steady flow of entertaining comments about the incident. Many by people who live near Mpumalanga.

“The last lion won’t cross the border to Swaziland, as I have it on authority that he doesn’t have a passport #LionsEscape” – @Lucpet51

“#LionsEscape the lion that’s said to be missing as handed himself at komatipoort SAPS but there’s no one to take him.” – @uchesacks

While Twitter has made a few funnies we are duty bound to remind you that it is a wild animal so if anyone spots the lion, remember to call the authorities rather than try snap a selfie or any other dangerous activity. We hope it gets found soon and returned back to the wild where it belongs.
