Mark Marshall is passionate about South African reptiles. To showcase their diversity and raise awareness, he is releasing a new show later this month.
Gqeberha, South Africa (19 May 2024) – Reptiles often get a bad rap and for no other reason than they are not pretty (ok, and sometimes they are dangerous too), but they play a pivotal role in the diversity of life in South Africa. Mark Marshall is deeply passionate about their care and has launched a limited series,“Mark Marshall: Nature Guide” to educate and raise awareness for local reptiles.
He is a passionate conservationist and owner of Sandula Conservation. Mark is excited to announce the debut of his limited series “Mark Marshall: Nature Guide” on the People’s Weather Channel and Open View channel 115. Starting from May 27, 2024, viewers can immerse themselves in the captivating world of local nature alongside field guide Mark Marshall.
Exploring Local Nature: Mark Marshall takes children (and adults!) on an educational adventure, exploring the
wonders of Gqeberha’s natural environment. From tortoises to snakes and monitors, viewers will gain insights into these fascinating creatures.
Affectionately known as the “Snake Man”, he brings his wealth of knowledge to the screen. His passion for reptile conservation shines through as he shares insights and stories.
Mark is serious about education too, he recently visited the Victoria Park High School to share his knowledge and help students engage with reptiles. You can find out more about his conservation efforts via the Sandula Conservation group here.
