Dobby, aged between one and two years, has spent most of his life on the streets, encountering unkind humans. Just a few months after finding loving foster parents, he is now on a journey to find his forever home and a loving owner who may discover his inspiring story.
Cape Town, South Africa (13 April 2025) – One little Africanis soul, who has had quite the rough start in his young life, is looking for a home and loving owner, who may just, by chance, stumble across his story.
Aged between one and two years, Dobby has spent most of my life on the streets, met some not-so-kind humans, and one day, ended up in a truck for what was supposed to be his last ride.
But his guardian angels had other plans, as fate would have Dobby meet an amazing group of people with big hearts and who would save him!
According to the Adopt a Dog Network – Cape Town and Surrounds Facebook group, Dobby has been living with loving foster parents for the past five months.
But now, his future hangs in the balance as his foster parents will be leaving the country soon due to visa restrictions.
The precious dog still hasn’t found his forever home or any other solution to ensure his world isn’t yet again turned upside down.
“I dream of a family with at least one playful dog sibling, as I thrive in a pack and understand boundaries much better that way.
“Since I’m still a bouncy, enthusiastic young doggie with a big love for life, a home without small kids would be best for now, I’d hate to knock over tiny humans in my excitement,” the dog adoptions group shared on Dobby’s behalf.
Dobby has so much love and loads of fun to offer and yearns for a family and home that will help him grow and continue to thrive.
