Ponies and horses beat out many humans’ Halloween costumes this past Spooky Season as pony clubbers pulled out all the stops alongside their steeds to raise funds for the SPCA Midrand!
Midrand, South Africa (12 November 2024) — There was no shortage of creativity in Midrand this past Spooky Season as several pony clubbers donned their best costumes for a worthy cause.
Alongside their horses and ponies, participants in the Radjesfontein and Irene Midrand Pony Club’s Halloween Outride pulled out all the stops to bring characters to life earlier this November. From dragons with hooves to a horse fit for a care bear and even a Checkers Sixty60 herd, the effort put into the fundraising day was simply spectacular (and, for some, prize-winning)!
Who benefitted from the fundraiser? Well, another animal-focused organisation, of course.
Thanks to the pony clubbers, vital funds were raised for the SPCA Midrand.
“We are so grateful for all the support that we continue to receive from this community and all their sponsors! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, paws and hooves!” Shared the SPCA.
Here’s a Look at all the Creativity!
