The dogs at Woodrock Animal Rescue were recently treated to a fulfilled toy shopping experience! The wholesome moment was captured in an adorable video, showcasing their uncontainable excitement as they got to choose their new chew toys and stuffed cuddle buddies!
Pretoria, South Africa (09 January 2025) – There’s nothing like a good old shopping spree to get you all giddy inside – especially if you’re not the one paying, LOL!
Happy tails were wagging all around as the doggos at the Woodrock Animal Rescue got to go “toy shopping” to their heart’s content among the many pre-loved treasures donated by kind-hearted folk who know all too well how comforting these items are to furry friends in need.
Dogs love to play, both with their owners and by themselves, and pet toys make playtime so much more intriguing, offering mental and physical stimulation and tons of fun!
A cute video shared by Woodrock Animal Rescue shows the adorable dogs searching through the piles of colourful toys put out for them to sniff, chew, and choose their favourites! Their joy? Palpable!

It just goes to show that simple gestures, such as giving away a toy you no longer need, can really bring so much joy, especially to pups patiently waiting for their forever homes.
Woodrock Animal Rescue prides itself in being a “pro-love” rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming non-profit organisation. With over 500 animals in its care at any given time -including donkeys, pigs, chickens, rabbits, geese, goats, dogs and cats- they do commendable work in ensuring hundreds of animals are loved and well taken care of.
