Jumping Kids beneficiaries and their families came together for a fun morning celebrating movement.
Pretoria, South Africa (22 October 2026) – There was football to play, a water slide to conquer and, for a lucky few, the chance to race against Paralympic champion Ntando Mahlangu!
Jumping Kids recently brought its beneficiaries together for its annual #Funday, hosted in collaboration with SEMLI at the University of Pretoria’s High Performance Centre. More than 30 children, accompanied by their families and guardians, joined the SEMLI team and Sport Science and Biokinetics Honours students for a morning packed with activity and laughter.
The pictures from the day tell their own story, with children enjoying football, taking part in sporting activities and making the most of the jumping castles and water slide. An impromptu race against Mahlangu added another exciting moment to the festivities.

The event offered more than just a chance to burn off energy.
Jumping Kids has been supporting children living with limb mobility challenges since 2009, helping them access prosthetic and assistive devices so they can lead fuller, more active lives.
The gathering also gave families, charity ambassadors and supporters an opportunity to meet, share experiences and see the children putting their devices to use while enjoying activities alongside their peers.
It was a celebration of movement, confidence and the power of bringing people together, with plenty of sunshine and smiles along the way.

Jumping Kids thanked Dr Carolette, SEMLI, the students, families and everyone who helped make the event possible.
From football matches to friendly races and a splash down the water slide, the day was a reminder that sport can create space for connection, confidence and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun.
