Mrs Potts swearing at “Karen” while telling her to “Wear a Mask” is something we never knew we needed in our lives!

Global (28 October 2020) – A parody video poking fun at COVID-19 mask-deniers has quickly gone viral making people laugh and appreciate his creativity with lyrics.

“Wear a Mask” is a song written to the tune of “Be Our Guest” from “Beauty and the Beast” and one that could easily become the theme tune for 2020.

Especially for giving us a swearing Mrs Potts!

“It’s a mask; it’s a mask, heaven sakes its just a mask. Such a shame that asking folks to follow rules gets you harassed.

You can shout, you can glare… but listen, Karen, I don’t care.

Never seen folks so dramatic over a f***ing piece of fabric.”

Noah Lindquist wrote, performed and put the whole thing together to not only poke fun at mask-deniers but also to bring a smile in a time that can feel incredibly traumatic.

Nearly 2,5 million views later and retweeted by several celebrities, the message to mitigate the spread of the virus is one that hits close to home for Lindquist.

“I used to work as a professional actor and singer in Kansas City with hopes to move to New York in the fall which is not happening now because all union theatre has shut down,” says Lindquist.
