Watch: Sour singer and a snake. Bizarre Idols SA video is going viral!

Ntando Shando channels his inner Britney Spears and proves that nothing is too scary if you’re determined to be famous!

Durban, South Africa – A Durbanite, dressed up in a ‘Borat Mankini’ and played with a snake while singing Alicia Keys (badly) for the Idols SA judges… and he is currently trending at number 2 on the Youtube charts.

Now in its 15th Season, Idols South Africa has become a Sunday-night staple on Mzansi Magic.

“It all boils down to the spice, scandal and superb singing that’s always on show. Idols has forged one superstar after another, honing raw talent and consistently transforming your average, boys and girls next door into chart-topping phenoms!”

From Season 1’s Heinz Winckler, to Musa, Noma, Lloyd Cele, Khaya Mthethwa, Paxton and of course, last year’s chart-topping teen phenom, Yanga! – Many Idols champions are carving out lucrative careers for themselves. In a testament to what a formidable platform the show is, even artists who didn’t claim the grande prize like Amanda Black, Thami Shobede, King B, Shekinah and Xae are dominating the airwaves & blazing a bright path on the international scene.

We’re not sure if Ntando Shandu is going to carve out a career in singing or snake handling, but at least he can tell his friends that he landed up on Youtube’s top trending videos.

What the ridiculous (and funny) video here:
