The staff at a Ladismith Spar recently traded their usual store duties for some serious dance moves, and it was a whole vibe!
Western Cape, South Africa (18 August 2025) – The Ladismith Spar staff took a break from their tills, offices and stock check posts to move their bodies and show off their new dancing skills recently – and we’re experiencing all the FOMO!
Taking lessons from a PNX Global member, the Spar crew got schooled on some of the hottest and trendiest dance moves before stepping out to wow shoppers and passersby with their awesome routine in front of the store.
Videos shared by the Ladismith Spar TikTok account show the staff dancing in sync to the most infectious beats. The hips shook, the arms swung, the footwork was on point, and the energy was amazing! Spectators were in for a treat, making what we imagine would have been a normal store run for bread and milk a whole vibe which we don’t doubt made their day.

PNX Global is a gap year programme that focuses on character building and life skill training, together with academic and practical training. They brought in one of their skilled performers to teach the dedicated staff in green and red a thing or two.
Dance is just one of those things that has a powerful way of bringing our people together, irrespective of our different paths or rhythms. And for those who couldn’t enjoy the performance in person, the videos were just as entertaining and garnered thousands of views.

Some viewers praised the Spar team and their choreographer for the impromptu dance party, with one hilariously admitting they had watched the footage an unhealthy amount of times.
We’ve said before, and we’ll say it again, South Africa is in a league of its own when it comes to bringing good vibes! This fun display of unity is just one of those many moments that show that South Africa knows how to bring people together and create moments of pure joy.
