GoodThingsGuy Top 100

South Africa’s leading Good News website and your source for all good things has been selected in a global list of the most interesting websites for 2017!

Since its founding in 2012, DailyTekk has become a top global Internet destination for consumer-focused startup, app, gadget and Internet product content. Reaching millions of influential tech addicts, DailyTekk’s original and innovative features, lists, reviews and lifestyle content continue to reverberate around all corners of the Internet.

DailyTekk compiles a list of its top 100 best and most interesting websites every single year, and recently we were alerted that we had made this years cut as the only South African website to appear on the list.

“This is the 6th time I’ve created a list of the 100 best websites of the year. It’s really turned into a “thing.” People are always asking when the next list will come out or offering up suggestions which I never use, sorry — this list is “pure” in that it’s stuff that I’ve encountered organically.”

“This list is kinda sorta “in order” but not really. All of these sites are awesome in some way or another and they can’t all be ranked #1.”

“I had no idea this was going to be such a popular tradition and, for the 6th time, I’m incredibly excited about this year’s batch of sites.”

GoodThingsGuy is the home of everything good, and those are the things that really matter! The website was officially launched on the 1 August 2015 in order to only promote good news, inspirational stories and promote only positive, upbeat media.

“We’re on a mission to change what the world pays attention to. We believe that there is good news all around us and nearly 2 million readers a month agree with us. We hunt down and report on the best Good News stories from South Africa, and the World.”

“Blown away that GoodThingsGuy was featured on the list. It’s incredibly humbling to have been part of this journey growing the platform into a real business. Thankful to all the readers who continuously support the good things.” – Brent Lindeque
