A proudly South African version of 12 Days of Christmas is starting to go viral! It’s actually really funny but be warned it may never leave your head again!

South Africa (05 December 2017) – Have you ever had a song earworm? The kind that you hear once and then all of a sudden you are humming it in the car on the way to work, in the shower as you lather up your hair, tapping it on your desk with a pen and the dreaded, waking up from a bad dream only to realise you were actually humming the darn tune in your sleep?

Yeah, we think it is safe to say we have all been there.

We were sent a video which has been doing the rounds since 2014 and regretted clicking on the link the second the tune started! But hey if we have to sing this song one billion times in our heads, why should we suffer alone? So we thought we would share it with you too…

What is the song you ask? Well, it’s the ’12 Days of Christmas’ song, only it is the proudly South African version. Instead of lyrics like:

On the First day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
a Partridge in a Pear Tree.

You get:

On the First day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
a Hadida in my Tree.

If you click on this video, we accept no claims for your pain, do so at your own risk! You have been warned! LOL only kidding, it’s actually really funny so give it a watch and let us know what you think?
