From eye-catching designs to a tribute to South Africa’s medical history, Estèe-Mari is bringing creativity and confidence to the Miss Grand International stage.

Thailand (09 October 2026) – Miss Grand South Africa Estèe-Mari has been serving some serious looks on the international pageant stage, bringing elegance, confidence and a distinctly South African touch to the Miss Grand International preliminary competition.

From striking silhouettes to intricate details, her outfits have been making a statement, showing just how much creativity and storytelling can go into pageant fashion.

One of the standout looks is The First Heart, a design inspired by South Africa’s place in medical history. It pays tribute to the world’s first successful human heart transplant, performed in Cape Town in December 1967.

At the centre of the design is the human heart, with a golden silhouette representing the courage of the medical team and the hope that made the groundbreaking procedure possible.

It’s a look that goes beyond simply dressing for the stage, using fashion to tell a story about South African innovation, courage and humanity.

And Estèe-Mari has been bringing the confidence to match the creativity, with her walk adding another layer of elegance and personality to the overall presentation.

Pageantry continues to give contestants a platform to combine fashion, performance and storytelling, and looks like this show how a carefully crafted outfit can represent something much bigger than the person wearing it.
