Sometimes what is happening off the sports field is just as important as what’s on it; St Alban’s College spectators have gone viral for their school cheer.

Pretoria, South Africa (02 April 2023) – St Alban’s College went viral recently after a cheer they gave, brought cheer to social media users. The “Grey and Blue” school has an exceptional amount of “gees” (which is Afrikaans for pride), and it can be seen on the sidelines of any school sports events.

The crowd always looks well-groomed in their blazers and ties, while being led in school cheer by the cheermasters and band on the field. The pride the school spectators exude is enough to help any team win.

We were left with chills while watching the viral cheer that was shared by the Supersport Schools Instagram account. The account captures all the best of schooling related sports in South Africa.

The school-goers turned the famous song “All of the Lights” by Kanye West featuring Rihanna and Kid Cudi into a school cheer.

They have so much power in their song that they could easily keep on all the lights in South Africa! In fact, Supersport Schools asked if they just ended loadshedding with that power???

We absolutely loved this one, what do you think?

Take a look at the cheer below.
