Western Cape, South Africa (27 February 2025) — Curro Durbanville has been the talk of the world recently thanks to a flash war cry performance that racked up millions of views and has gees spreading like nobody’s business.

The viral video captured everyone’s attention from your neighbour to Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner! In case you haven’t seen it, you can give it a watch here.

But did you know that several other schools also put on stellar performances at the MTBS Athletics and Flashes Competition?

While Curro Durbanville might have won the world’s attention, it was Hoërskool Stellenberg who claimed the winner’s trophy, while Hoërskool DF Malan earned the top honours for Gees.
