Vets are pulling on all our heartstrings this week, a vet in the USA recently did emergency surgery on a dogs favourite toy so that it could live longer.

Washington, United States – It seems this is the week of Vets doing amazing things. Earlier this week we shared the adorable story of an Amanzimtoti vet who helped a little girl fix her sick puppy Marshall, but Marshall was actually a stuffed toy.

All the way in Washington, USA another vet did a “ground-breaking” beak repair surgery on a Great Dane’s favourite toy.  Justice, the Great Dane, loves her rooster toy but accidentally chewed its beak off.

They rushed the toy into emergency surgery and even let Justice scrub in as an assistant. Justice observed as the vet at Companion Animal Hospital stitched the rooster back together. She also got to wear her very own scrubs for the procedure.

“Great Dane nurse Justice assisting in her first emergency surgery, a beak repair on her favourite stuffed rooster.”

The world is filled with good deeds and moments like this warm our hearts. While it may not be breaking news, it is the news our souls need. Take a look at the cute images below.
