Staff at a Woolworths have been caught on video doing their daily Flashmob in the store as they break into song to uplift each other and create a happy place.
The staff at a Woolworths food store in Johannesburg get together every day at the same time to make the store a little happier. They decided to start the tradition to uplift each other and just get the day going on the right foot.
Everyday at 11:30 all the staff, from the cashiers to the bakers and even the cleaners walk from the back of the store to the entrance singing Johnny Clegg’s Asimbonanga.
“Discovered the most amazing tradition at my local coffee shop (Woolworths) where all the staff get together everyday to sing a song together, just to uplift each other & create a happy place for customers… just magical.”
The daily tradition has become a highlight at Dainfern Square as locals wait for the song or plan their shopping trips to specifically see it.
