The 4PAWS team, a team of some truly dedicated animal heroes who have offered love and shelter to countless creatures in need, is required to leave its current premises and is seeking a new place to call home.
Johannesburg, South Africa (02 April 2025) – Champions for animal welfare are undoubtedly some of the best kind out there, and for years, 4PAWS has worked tirelessly to care for abandoned, neglected, abused and homeless animals.
Day in and out, the compassionate volunteers handled each stray and surrendered animal with the utmost care. However, they currently find themselves facing an incredibly challenging situation that has threatened the running of their operations and overall future.
After learning that they could no longer use their current premises, 4PAWS is now in a desperate position for a new home to house the many big and small animals in its care.
“Every day our shelter provides a safe haven for creatures in need, offering them love, shelter, food and a chance at a better life.
“We cannot stay on our current premises much longer, and although we have found the perfect place to relocate our shelter, we simply do not have the funds to do so,” shares 4PAWS.
The animal charity hopes to use every cent and rand received to go towards purchasing the new property, moving costs and transportation of the animals, renovating and adapting the new space to meet the needs of its furry friends, as well as purchasing supplies, equipment and infrastructure for the new shelter.
But they cannot achieve this massive goal alone. Their future, and the futures of so many animals yet to be rescued, rests on the compassion of the greater public.
“These animals have no one else to turn to and we cannot do this without your help.
“Together we can make a difference in the lives of so many more animals.”
