The constant rain has turned into flooding in KwaZulu-Natal, leaving thousands of people exposed to the elements; this is how to lend a helping hand.
KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (12 April 2022) – The flooding in parts of KwaZulu-Natal have been devastating, washing away homes and leaving many destitute in the cold weather. Sadly lives have also been lost. People are already asking how they can lend a helping hand, and we have some suggestions.
As the cold is coming, raid your cupboards at home and pull out those unused blankets, warm clothing items and key ingredients for hearty soups. These items can be donated to your local charities or churches.
With the weather not looking to ease up just yet, every helping hand can make a difference!
If you are looking for specific organisations to support, below are several that will be working to support people and animals affected by the flooding.
